The Metro again today.








 Took in the sights today on-board an open Double Decker Bus. Kai was the wise one, needless to say the rest of us got a little sunburnt.



Another healthy tea, $5.00 to finish off the day... and we had some salad.

The Statue of Liberty stands 305 feet high. The seven triangles which form her crown represent the seven seas that immigrants traveled to come to America. The two 'reflecting on absence' pools sit in the exact footprints of where the Twin Towers once stood with the names of all people who lost their lives around its edges, due to the attacks of both 9/11 and in 1993... nearly 3000 people lost their lives.
